About us

My name is Matt and I’m just a tradie that has been running his own Insurance Painting business for over 18years. I have been struggling with mental health, adhd, anxiety, ocd and depression all my life. Through the entirety of my life I have struggled and like many, many , many others found it difficult to get through everyday life and to talk about it to someone for help and guidance. In Late 2024 In my darkest stages of life battling severe nerve damage on both sides of my body from my shoulders to my fingers due to 2 pinched nerves in my neck. I found creating images and words of encouragement on a T-shirt very uplifting for me and kept a smile on my face pushing through this pain whilst still painting till I could receive double carpal tunnel surgery on both hands as a start to this nerve damage. From there I knew I had a passion for speaking out about mental health and helping others like me. WE ARE NOT SUFFERS, BUT SURVIVORS. We are people with a lot of life challenges ahead of us and just as normal as other people. Yes us Neurodivergent people shouldn’t stay silent anymore and that there is so much more help now. No longer should we stay inside feeling sad with no help. There is better help out there that does indeed save lives.
Matt Made It provides cool and very unique designs and strong words that reflect very much about my life and indeed others with mental health issues, adhd, ocd, anxiety and depression. With some funny words from diagnosed with slay-dhd, to a funny adhd bingo chart. There are strong motivation words to spread the word and keep pushing towards success in your life. I know my story will barely touch the surface, but just to acknowledge the mental health community that hopefully a tradie like myself with so many mental health issues and seeing Professional help can put aside all my personal stuff just to help change the way people see us and help support others doing it tough.
I hope to inspire many other people out there with my designs, artistic flair and uniqueness with mental health issues that reaching out for help is your first step. Strong isn’t about having bigger muscles but asking for help is. Words are very powerful and let’s use it in the right place

For every item sold I will be setting aside $1 of every item and matching it with $1 to one of my favourite charities in Australia called beyond blie(men’s mental health suicide prevention)

Hope to see you guys soon and help spreading the word.
